Gold Electroforming System (GES) Crown
Utilizing an electroplating technology, GES uses a pure gold lining. Regular crowns use an alloy containing a silver ion, which causes common problems such as gum discoloration and recession. You don’t have to worry about any of the problems with GES.
Because gold lining is invisible, GES has a natural appearance.
Example of treatment
This photograph shows a crown with an alloy lining. The lining is clearly seen.
The second photograph shows the same tooth replaced with GES. A gold lining is invisible, and the normal gum color is back.
