What is an orthodontic treatment?
Orthodontic treatment

An orthodontic treatment used to be only for children. However, if conditions are met, adults of any age can now receive the treatment. The orthodontic treatment is not only to have a beautiful smile, but also to correct the bite. Having the orthodontic treatment when placing crowns, a patient is likely to have a better result.

Where should I go for an orthodontic treatment?

An orthodontic treatment needs extensive planning. Find a certified orthodontist who has years of experience and training. Any dentist can straighten teeth, but the crucial part of the orthodontic treatment is to align the bite. It is impossible to correct a bite without a well-planed treatment.

In these days, other types of braces are available, including the speed bracket and clear braces. The speed bracket shortens the orthodontic treatment time using special springs. A clear aligner treatment, which uses removable and invisible braces to straighten the teeth, became popular.
